The Obsidian Contemporary Art & Design (OCAD) Group’s purpose of establishing the OCAD Gallery is to introduce the work of a diverse global community of talented artists to art enthusiasts and fine art collectors worldwide.  You will gain access to our expanding on-site community of African American artists that include those descended from the African diaspora, predominantly in the Americas, as well as artist descended from other groups and cultures  

On Obsidian Contemporary Art & Design Gallery’s virtual 24/7 web portal you will view digitally curated art shows featuring black artists using all types of materials in their cultural expression - oil and acrylic paint on paper and canvas, glass, stone and various metals. The virtual art Gallery will allow you to spatially visualize and select quality contemporary original works of art that fascinates and inspires you.
